Clarity by Lisa Viscardi

At the heart of Clarity there is a basic process called C.L.E.A.R. When applying the process, focus on one area or room at a time. Get “Clear” about that space before you move on to the next.

C = Categorize
Sort through your things. Put everything that’s the same together; books, bills, tools, jewelry, toys…

L = Learn
What are your tendencies? Do you leave piles everywhere because you don’t know where to put things? Do you frequently miss payments, misplace items or forget appointments because things are not in order?

E = Edit
After you’ve categorized, go through each of the groupings and get rid of all the things you really don’t need. Using large garbage bags, separate your stuff into “garbage,” “recycle” and “give away.”

A = Arrange
Everything needs a place of its own. Choose appropriate storage containers for your categories and find homes for them based on accessibility and frequency of use, keeping everything that's the same together.

R = Revisit
Maintain the clarity that you’ve created. You may find over time that you need to refine, reassess, and refresh.
